Cohesion, Alignment, Separation...
In this work, more than 15k particles of three types wander around the screen, each controlled by eight different parameters, together forming a complex and interesting bionic system.
In nature, many life forms are like this system, evolving complex group behavior from individual simple rules. From small cell division and ant pathfinding, to large crowds gathering and dispersing and bird migration.
Advanced GPU parallel algorithms based on the theory of complex systems are used to make this large-scale real-time simulation possible, allowing users to adjust parameters by adjusting knobs to explore the metaphor of life and biodiversity in the work.
